The
Twin City Model Railroad Museum always enjoys making the best of May 10th, or as it's know, National Train Day. While the museum itself boasts a world-famous 'O' scale model railroad (based on the Twin Cities area of the late 1800's to early 1900's,) it also boasts many fun activities for train-lovers of all ages.
From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the museum will be
hosting a model railroad show and sale, at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. There will be many scale models operating on display, and many more things to buy.
At the museum there will be special Amtrak trains on display and a historic bus which will give rides from the museum to the Jackson Street Roundhouse and also the Union Depot.
The Spring Sale and the Museum each have their own running times and separate admission, but are nonetheless connected events.
