Excessive Rain Extinguishes Drought

Flooding There is a silver lining to all this dreary weather. No really, there is. But this is the first in the last few years that we've seen zeros across the board for drought measurements, the last time was for a short two weeks in July of 2011. Compared to the excessive and extreme drought being experienced in California, some might say we're lucky to have an excess of water on our hands.   Photo via: KARE 11
