For Some Springtime Fun, Go to 'Stanley’s Beer & Bacon Fest'

Beer and Bacon Fest - Minnesota
If you like bacon and you like beer (and come on, you know you do) there’s an event coming up that you can’t miss: Stanley’s Beer and Bacon Fest at Stanley’s Northeast Bar Room in Minneapolis on Saturday, May 17. Important things to know: You must be 21 to go to the festival. If you aren’t 21, ignore this whole article because it will only make you depressed. PRE-ORDER your tickets here. You can also go directly to Stanley’s to order the tickets before the event. However, if all of the allotted tickets are sold before May 17th, you will not be able to buy tickets the day of. The festival goes from 2 pm to 5 pm, is located outdoors in the Stanley’s parking lot and on Lowry Avenue, and will happen rain or shine. Art-a-Whirl is also happening in Northeast Minneapolis that weekend, and the two events will complement each other very well. Satisfy your inner artist in the morning, then satiate those hunger pains at the bacon and beer fest immediately afterwards. The general $40 entrance fee for the Beer and Bacon Fest will give you access to beer samples from the local and regional breweries present at the event, and you will also be able to pair said brews with up to eight different flavors of bacon. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to build a… wait for it… pretzel necklace! To be honest, I have no idea what this means, but it sounds good to me! Stanley’s Beer and Bacon Fest isn’t all about beer and bacon. It is also a chance to be outside, enjoy the (hopefully) warm weather, and listen to live music from Spin Drive DJ, The White Keys, and Orange Whip until 10 pm. Altogether, it sounds like a blast!
