
Best-selling author Francine Prose will be reading from her most recent novel,Â
Lovers at the Chameleon Club, Paris 1932, at the Minneapolis Central Library on Monday, May 12 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public through the Friends of the Hennepin County Library. In addition to being a respected novelist, Prose is the president of the PEN American Center. Her novel,
Blue Angel, was nominated for the National Book Award.

Lovers at the Chameleon Club, Paris 1932 is set in the turbulence of World War II and explores the moral choices of main character Lou Villars, as well as her relationships with the artists and intellectuals who frequent the Chameleon Club. Prose will answer audience questions after the reading and her books will be available for sale and signing.
