
The
Upper Midwest Koi Club (UMKC) is, once again, landing their annual show in south Minneapolis. Fish enthusiasts intend on showcasing tub after tub of their most beautiful koi all in the hopes of reeling in the grand prize of the competition.
Apart from awards for the experienced koi keepers, UMKC's show will include specialized koi products, experts brimming with information (really helpful if you are new to the hobby) and, of course, some superbly scaled specimens for purchase.

When:
Saturday, August 2nd - 9 am to 5 pm open to the public; judging commences at 10 am!
Sunday, August 3rd - 10 am to 3 pm open to the public, 10:30 am award presentation, 12 pm judge's "Tank Walk" (Q&A), 1 pm auction/door prizes
Where: Bachman's on Lyndale (6010 Lyndale Ave S. Mpls, MN)
Who: All ages and experience!
Cost: Free!

Expecting to lure visitors from far and wide, the UMKC even hooked a special
hotel deal for out-of-towners. This free and fun activity is great for kids, adults, koi keepers and non-keepers alike; don't let it be the one that got away!
