Minneapolis Institute of Arts Set to Host 5th Annual 'Gala and Summer Party'

MIA 5th Gala 2014 One of the greatest things about the Twin Cities is our take on the arts. We have sculptures scattered all over the cities, great architecture, multiple museums and galleries to attend -- in general our community appreciates the arts, and the finer things in life. This year one of the Twin Cities' most renown museums, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts, is holding its 5th annual Gala and Summer Party on Saturday, June 7th 2014. The Minneapolis Institute of Arts will be the place for the fundraiser. The Gala dinner will be inside the reception hall and the after party being at the Target Park, the divine outdoor garden outside MIA's building. Although the Gala is sold out, tickets are still available for the summer party held afterwards in the garden. The idea is based around supporting and fundraising the MIA. The MIA is always free to attend, with some special showcases costing minimal amounts. The generosity of supporters, like the ones who will attend the Gala, make it possible for all members of the community to enjoy art. MIA Gala and Summer party 2014 The official start of the party and a quarter before 9:00pm a live auction of "priceless experiences" will take place. There will be at five featured bands and performers for entertainment, appetizers to snack on, and an open bar. The MIA committee is requesting cocktail attire. If you opt for the VIP tickets it will include valet parking and passes to future 2014 MIA exhibitions.
