This week saw the loss of an actor that spanned generations, from
Mork and Mindy to
Aladdin. News organizations and social media have been bursting with memorials to Robin Williams. This weekend, the local St. Anthony Main Theatre will pay tribute as well. To honor Robin Williams' career, the historic Minneapolis movie theatre will host a
free screening of one of his most loved movies  (and one of my personal favorites),
The Dead Poet's Society.
For those of you who have not seen this film, it follows Robin Williams as a new teacher at a boys prep school. He works to inspire a love of poetry and English into the hearts of his students, using his own unconventional ways.
The screening is this Saturday and starts at 7 p.m.
