Minnesota Map Juxtaposed With Our State at Night

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Have you ever wondered what Minnesota looks like from space at night? After the jump, you can see a GIF image that flips between a map of Minnesota and how the state looks under the cover of darkness -- of course, the bigger metropolitan areas aren't dark at all, they are marked by their abundance of light. While light pollution can be off-putting, it does hide the night sky from citizens, it sure looks cool through the lens of seeing human ingenuity overcome the darkness of night. The image is below. How many times will you watch this image change? I personally saw it go back and forth about 30 times before I had my fill.
