On today's Internet, you can't browse very long without coming across a picture or a video of a cat -- cats rule the Internet. Today, I am going to further that conception by posting a video, of a cat, being a jerk. Also, if you didn't know, cats are jerks. Thankfully, this cat was a jerk, and it's really funny -- even the mail carrier has a good laugh at the challenge of having to deliver mail with this cat on the prowl.
Enjoy.

In the event you cannot wait two days to watch the brief, but very expensive Super Bowl preview for the upcoming biblical film
Noah, starring Russell Crowe, Entertainment Tonight has got you covered. This has to be one of the most anticipated films of 2014, not simply for the star studded cast, (Emma Watson, Anthony Hopkins and Jennifer Connelly also star), but also for the heralded director behind the project, Darren Aronofsky (

Though many of the larger lakes near the Twin Cities, such as Minnetonka and White Bear, are praised for their quality fishing when ice covered, a plethora of small, easily-accessible lakes are suited for the more humble fisherman.
Two lakes tiny in comparison to the much deeper, heavily-fished lakes in the metro area are

St. Paul was granted $8 million in arts funding this week by the Knight Foundation largely due to its “organic momentum” of cultural growth explosion in the area over the past few years, according to Dennis Scholl, Knight’s vice president of arts giving.
The state capital is “a city that knows and lives the importance of the arts to building a sense of community,” Scholl

As I often mention, it is my mission to make my rounds to the underrated bars and restaurants in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. From the slanted pictures to mismatched dinnerware, you cannot go wrong with a hole-in-the-wall American Pub to provide essentials like a 'morning after bloody and breakfast' or a place for 'weeknight out with an old friend.' I have driven past Maxwell’s time and time again but for some reason the thought of stopping there keeps slipping my mind. After the typical debate of where...

Last Friday night, First Avenue hosted the first of two nights celebrating The Current's 9th birthday party. Most of The Current DJs and staff were on hand to fulfill hosting duties throughout the weekend, which gave it a real 'happy birthday' vibe. If you weren't lucky enough to get tickets, which were offered to MPR members first and sold out days before the shows, you could have listened to the live broadcast on the radio. Friday night showcased the talents of Actual Wolf, Strange Names, Lizzo, and Har Mar Superstar.
I unfortunately missed Actual...!--more-->

On Sunday, January 26, the 56th annual Grammy Awards were held in the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The show was a spectacle, to say the least, with collaborations of musicians on opposite sides of the spectrum -- see: heavy metal group Metallica and concert pianist Lang Lang, as well as performances by musicians of yester-year and tomorrow-land converging on one stage in the name of music. The awards were delevd out as usual, Australian artist, Lorde took home two Grammy's in her first ever awards show, Daft Punk received Record of the...

Apparently Minnesota has a lot going for it right now -- the state was
recently deemed the #2 best state in the Union by Politico Magazine, and a few months back Minneapolis' Varsity Theater
was awarded the title of having the nation's "Best Bathroom." Now, in less than one calendar year, Minnesotans can boast about one more achievement...

It's no secret that Jimmy Fallon is taking over Jay Leno's throne as the new host of
The Tonight Show -- the changing of the guard is taking place on February 17. In this video, Fallon enlists the help of three of television's most gifted and nurturing counselors: Danny Tanner, Jesse Katsopolis, and Joey Gladstone. If you've ever seen an episode of
Full House, you've seen them all. The show always ends the same way, with a family hiccup or argument...
