The days of punk rock have come and gone. The genre is an old memory now, placed on the shelf next to psychedelic rock and grunge. So, a movie about Neo-Nazis trying to kill punk rockers brings a whole new meaning to the term "punk is dead," and maybe that is the point in the horror slasher Green Room
. While the genre may exist only in our memories, in Green Room
it still hits a chord and resonates like a swan song or a desperate plea to hang on to the last remaining nostalgia of punk music.
And even though the characters live in a world so far removed from mainstream culture, it's easy to empathize...!--more-->

Here is the highly controversial tweet. (Warning: This is not for children -- I've added the parental advisory warning due to the offensive nature of this tweet.)

It’s Grandma’s Marathon. The Boston Marathon. Maybe even the IRONMAN. What do the these major events have in common? They are big, audacious goals that are achieved by putting one foot in front of the other. Many will never achieve them. Some have. Some will. While others will do so over and over again! What do these competitors say when they are asked how they accomplished the seemingly impossible? Focus on the present and set intermediate goals. Sports Psychology research leads us to the same reasoning. Setting intermediate or “process goals” are vastly superior to the big, audacious ones.
So why are fitness goals, especially...!--more-->

The bill H.F. 3396, also called the Individual’s Right to Privacy and Safety in Public Accommodations Act, authored by Rep. Glenn Gruenhagen has ignited a heated debate in Minnesota over transgender rights. If passed, the bill would define sex in Minnesota as being either a male or a female as biologically defined.
