Comedian and actor Fred Armisen, co-star and co-creator of the comedy show
Portlandia, will visit The Cedar Cultural Center in Minneapolis on Tuesday, March 18 to host an advanced screening of the show’s upcoming season.
In addition to being present during the screening of his award-winning IFC series, Armisen will also participate in a Q&A following the screening.
Portlandia is known for its sarcastic mockery of hipsters, locally-owned bookstores and all things organic. This season the show will have a direct Minnesota connection with sketches involving fans of
A Prairie Home Companion, the long-running radio show hosted by Minnesotan
Garrison Keillor.
