Revenge: The Most Pointless Reason to Rob a Store

Eagan teen Brandon M. Trefethren, decided to commit a robbery. Quite upset at being falsely accused of robbery, Eagan teen Brandon M. Trefethren, decided to actually commit a robbery. On April 23rd, a man working at a business (not disclosed in the court documents) was approached by a masked person -- who he assumed to be Trefetheren. The robber withdrew a handgun and presented a note, reading: "Give me all the money in your register, safe and on your person. This will be real quick and easy if you listen to what I am telling you to do." The worker then claims to have kicked Trefetheren in the chest, slammed the door shut, and called 911. Trefethern was later found by police riding a bicycle by his home; a bullet in his pocket, and a revolver with an empty cylinder. He admitted to the robbery, and to firing a single round into the business' back door in order to frighten those inside. But most of all he admits that he did this all out of spite for being accused of stealing. Trefetheren, 18, was charged with aggravated robbery in Dakota County. He is out on $75,000 bail.   Photos via: Wikipedia
