There will be lots to drink and lots to learn! Local breweries will offer limited beer sampling, and there will be a bar serving beer and wine through the event. Some of the breweries that will be giving out samples are: Summit, Third Street Brewhouse, Schell’s, Bad Weather Brewing Company, A Dangerous Man, and many more Minnesota favorites. Then, after you drink your beer, you’ll be able to put it under the microscope. Fermentation demonstrations and beer density experiments will get you up-close and personal with your favorite beverages. All Social Science events serve alcohol and give grownups a chance to roam the museum kid-free. Any scientifically-inclined adult who has ever been crowded out of a cool dinosaur exhibit by a group of crowing children will appreciate the ability to gaze upon the museum’s skeletons while sipping a local brew. If this blend of science and alcohol sounds like your idea of a good time, there is a full schedule of adult-oriented events in the Science Museum’s Social Science series to explore.
