St. Paul STAR Program Sets Up Workshop and Begins Application Process

St. Paul - Star Grants - 2014 - Application - Process - Workshop St. Paul is taking applications over $5,000 for Neighborhood STAR grants, a program that gives grants and loans to local businesses, housing programs, and nonprofits. This program seeks to improve the economic, commercial, and residential development in the neighborhoods of St. Paul. In an effort to streamline the application process, the Neighborhood Sales Tax Revitalization program is hosting a workshop on February 12, 2014, at the Como Park Zoo and the Visitor Center of the Conservatory. The workshop will run from 10:30 - 11:45 am. Because the applications are difficult and number of applicants is aplenty, the workshop will help applicants make the best case for their causes. Applications are due March 28, 2014 -- the allocation of funds will not be announced until July. Applications and further instruction will be on hand at the workshop, online at www.stpaul.gov/star or by calling 651-266-STAR (7827). Image via: Stpaul.gov FOLLOW MATTHEW DEERY
