Back in fall of 2012 I was shocked to find southeastern Minnesota to be almost devoid of apples. Orchards were closed and bins stood empty in the many seasonal stands. Most touristy stores contained only jars of jam and sauce (probably from previous years) staring ominously at the disappointed patrons and staff alike. I had to settle for some Wisconsinite fruit... it was depressing. This year, however, is different.

of agricultural products in the USA. Combined with a long history of innovation, it's only natural that we have blessed the world with a barrage of original food concepts.

10. Bundt Cake
Any die-hard Apple fan looking to snatch up anything and everything from the technology giant was waiting in line this morning to be one of the first to get their hands on one of the new Apple iPhones. I think it can be a bit ridiculous to wait in line for a phone, especially for days like some in New York, and certainly for those who don't really need a new phone but just want to have Apple's latest and greatest. But I too have waited in line for consumer products, so I can cast no stones. But has Apple really redefined anything with their latest phones?
