
It's time to bring country music back to the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The stage has most recently filled by some of pop music's biggest stars such Bruno Mars, Beyonce, and Katy Perry most recently. It's also been filled by legends like Madonna and Bruce Springsteen. But it's time to bring the twang back.
There are many ways to go about it. They can either get one main performer with the possibility of having a few guests stop by, or have package deal to better represent the genre.

Blake Shelton is back with the first single off his upcoming album,
Bringing Back The Sunshine, which is due out September 30.
The song is “Neon Light” and if you’ve enjoyed the kind of music he’s put out so far, then the chances are pretty good that you’ll be turning this one up as well.

WE Fest, the huge three day long country music festival up in Detroit Lakes, MN that has been running for 31 years, kicks off next weekend. Now, if you didn't know, Detroit Lakes isn't necessarily a short skip from the Twin Cities -- it's over three hours to drive up there. Considering that, and the festival's huge crowds totaling in the many thousands, the music and experience of camping with hordes of country fans must be worth the effort to travel so far north.
