Fireworks will fill Minnesota's sky on Friday night as various local cities and towns hold traditional, colorful, explosion-filled celebrations commemorating our country's 238th year of independence.
One such display will occur in Lakeville — but fireworks are only the beginning of the long list of annual festivities that take place during the week surrounding July 4th.
Lakevillians (Lakevillites?) call it Pan-o-Prog, and even if you aren't from Lakeville, you're invited to head on down and enjoy a celebration that offers plenty for anyone to enjoy.
The Children’s Castle Theater production Homer Price and the Extraordinary, Unordinary, Unstoppable Doughnut Machine
hit Lakeville this past weekend only and was a fantastic experience for those in attendance.
The setting for the play takes place in Centerburg, Ohio and follows the character of Homer, who, after a theft at his aunt’s diner, is trying to solve the crime and clear his aunt’s name. Homer Price and the Extraordinary, Unordinary, Unstoppable Doughnut Machine
is the 2013 summer production of the Children’s Castle Theater in Lakeville, MN. The show, which will be about two hours long, is based on Robert McCloskey’s classic children’s novel Homer Price
, and centers on children following the story of the super hero 'Super Duper' in his quest to destroy the 'Cockroach Man.'
