Super Troopers is one of those beloved, cult comedies that people can quote over and over. The movie came out 17 years ago (wow, that sure makes me feel old) and still to this day is one of my favorite comedies. Broken Lizard, the comedy troupe behind the aforementioned title,
Club Dread,
Beerfest and
Slammin' Salmon, has wanted to make a
Super Troopers 2 for years -- but it never quite got the traction needed to be made (a lot of that had to due to the project not getting studio support, i.e. funding).

Heading into its 5th year, the LakeFront Music Festival is back in action this weekend in Prior Lake. Put on the Prior Lake Rotary Club as a fundraising event, this festival is not just your average concert series with a bunch of local bands turning up their amps and guitars for a few weary-eyed bar patrons -- this music festival is the real deal, an all out spectacle, and is set up right on the shore of Lower Prior Lake.
This growing music festival is set to host The Fray, Kat Perkins, David Nail, Billy Currington and more -- like I said, not just a lineup of dodgy local bands. Friday night kicks off with "Rock Night" and Saturday wraps up with "Country Night."
The event...!--more-->

Be afraid, be very afraid!
Halloween isn't the scariest day in Minnesota, in fact, it's a candy-laden afterthought compared to the
Zombie Pub Crawl. This weekend, mobs of the risen dead will swarm unfortunate bystanders and wrench weekend traffic into a state of fearful curiosity (or annoyance). By now most should know that this ever-changing and ever-expanding occurrence is an inevitable part of October's festivities in our fair state.
These undead (or un-sober) masses will swarm to their nexus and listen to Rae Sremmurd, Zomboy, Smash Mouth, ILOVEMAKONNEN, Ja Rule, Andrew W. K., Antiserum and Bobby...!--more-->
