is one of those beloved, cult comedies that people can quote over and over. The movie came out 17 years ago (wow, that sure makes me feel old) and still to this day is one of my favorite comedies. Broken Lizard, the comedy troupe behind the aforementioned title, Club Dread
and Slammin' Salmon
, has wanted to make a Super Troopers 2
for years -- but it never quite got the traction needed to be made (a lot of that had to due to the project not getting studio support, i.e. funding).

Heading into its 5th year, the LakeFront Music Festival is back in action this weekend in Prior Lake. Put on the Prior Lake Rotary Club as a fundraising event, this festival is not just your average concert series with a bunch of local bands turning up their amps and guitars for a few weary-eyed bar patrons -- this music festival is the real deal, an all out spectacle, and is set up right on the shore of Lower Prior Lake.
This growing music festival is set to host The Fray, Kat Perkins, David Nail, Billy Currington and more -- like I said, not just a lineup of dodgy local bands. Friday night kicks off with "Rock Night" and Saturday wraps up with "Country Night."

Be afraid, be very afraid!
Halloween isn't the scariest day in Minnesota, in fact, it's a candy-laden afterthought compared to the Zombie Pub Crawl
. This weekend, mobs of the risen dead will swarm unfortunate bystanders and wrench weekend traffic into a state of fearful curiosity (or annoyance). By now most should know that this ever-changing and ever-expanding occurrence is an inevitable part of October's festivities in our fair state.
These undead (or un-sober) masses will swarm to their nexus and listen to Rae Sremmurd, Zomboy, Smash Mouth, ILOVEMAKONNEN, Ja Rule, Andrew W. K., Antiserum and Bobby...!--more-->

Meet David. He’s the protagonist of Le Switch,
a play now having its world premiere at the Jungle Theater under the direction of Jeremy Cohen.
David is a 35 year-old gay librarian who loves long walks by the water, has a deep love for collecting rare books that he never opens and a deeper ambivalence about marriage. Everyone wants David to find someone. His best friend Zachary is getting married. His sister Sarah is already married. Even Frank, his never-married but deeply committed roommate, thinks he should get over himself and get into something serious. David asks “Don’t you want me to be happy?” The world...
