Minnesota United FC has hyped up a mysterious free VIP event for Aug. 19, concerning the team's move to MLS.
Today, registered fans will meet from 5:00 - 9:30 p.m. at the Historic Union Depot in St. Paul. Though we've known about the MLS move since March 2015, the beginning is drawing near, as evidenced by the team's event video below and the team's marketing hashtag #NextStopMLS.

Minnesota United has begun a campaign asking for those in favor of its new Major League Soccer stadium to contact their local leaders in support of its construction.
MLS announced that Minnesota United would be its 23rd team last month, with the Loons to begin play in 2018. In the meantime, the team and its supporters need to build a stadium suitable for MLS.

Last Saturday brought two world-renowned soccer teams to 34,047 fans at TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus.
It also brought two fun soccer matches including home team Minnesota United who took on the Ottawa Fury.
