Pioneer Press Possibly Looking for Buyer

The oldest printed daily newspaper in the state, the Pioneer Press, is looking to follow in the footsteps of the largest daily newspaper in the state, the Star Tribune, by finding a new owner.
The Newspaper Guild spoke for members of the Pioneer Press staff Monday as they took out an advertisement in the Star Tribune.

Yes, you read that right. The Star Tribune will now print rival Pioneer Press newspapers at their Minneapolis plant. The move by Pioneer Press will shut down their St. Paul plant and cost some 170 full-time and part-time workers their jobs.
