The Maine Playing Free Show on September 3rd

The Maine

Alternative rock band The Maine are headed to Minneapolis and you can see them for the low, low price of FREE.

The Maine are doing an entirely free tour called the "Free For All Tour" and have made Minneapolis one of their destinations. The Tempe, Arizona-based band will be playing their fifth stop of the 13-stop tour at Mill City Nights near Target Field  Sept. 3. The tour is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so there are no tickets. The Maine's event page says 6 p.m., so get there early to secure your spot. Other stops and information is included on the band's website. A video announcement made by The Maine explained the free tour as a way to thank fans who have been to countless shows as well as the ones who could never afford to get there.
“We’ve been thinking of ways that we can actually repay you and we’re finally at a crossroads where we feel like we’d like to really attempt to do so,” singer John O’Callaghan said.
The band is only asking for a gas money donation that is not required using Square Cash. After the show, the band will be available for photos and signings. Make sure to check out their fifth studio album, "American Candy," which the band released March 31.   Image courtesy of: The Maine
