For the 42nd time, the Twin Cities Auto Show will be showing off the latest cars and accessories this weekend at the Minneapolis Convention Center, just a couple weeks after the Minnesota Golf Show occupied the space. The show offers more than 450 cars from over 35 car makers in its 400,000 square feet of exhibition space. The show is open March 7-15. There is a "Country Night" March 10 and a "Military Appreciation Night" March 12. Tickets are available here for $10 online or $12 at the door with teens at $6. Wednesday is half-price all day. The hours are as follows:
Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Sundays: 10 a.m. -  7 p.m. Monday: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Tuesday: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Wednesday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. Thursday: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Friday: 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
There will be over $15 million worth of vehicles and exhibits according to the show's website. Also at the show will be appearances by Disney Channel star Peyton List (I'm not sure why she's there, for the kids maybe?) and local outdoorsman Ron Schara with his dog Raven. Among the multitude other exhibits will be the University of Minnesota's attempt at an electrical, solar vehicle:

 SolarCar

"The Centaurus III will be on display March 7 and 8. This vehicle raced in the Formula Sun Grand Prix and American Solar Challenge 2014, finishing 3rd and 2nd in each event respectively. The vehicle, which had been raced in 2012, was rebuilt entirely electrically. In addition to this, the exterior was vinyl-wrapped for improved aerodynamics and the mechanical subsystems were updated to meet the new regulations."
It ought to be a great time for any car enthusiast or those of all ages even mildly interested in vehicles. Head to Minneapolis to get your fix of automobiles and see what might be in store for your garage in the coming years.
